Back to School Gifts
I saw this idea here and loved it. It was much easier to make than it looks and saved me TONS of money this year on gifts. I found these miniature wash tubs for 3/$1 and bought little hand towels to go with the soap 18/$4. I'll let Amy from The Idea Room tell you how it's done. My total cost for each gift was $2.22 per teacher.
DIY Cancer Care Basket
There is never a time that I want to hear the news of a friends or family member going through cancer, however, it is inevitable. I found some things bring so much comfort and are easily put together and given when needed. I created a list of things and I would love to hear from you about other things we could include.
DIY Eye Spy Bag Sewing Project
Last December I posted that I had So Much To Do and So Little Time and I'm not kidding but that hasn't changed. Christmas is nearing and I have way to much to do in the way of making gifts and I spent some mullah today buying trinkets and plastic charms and all kinds of tiny goodies and found a new store that I LOOOOOVEE! It's called...Tiny Things Are Cute. I'm seriously in love and I feel an addiction coming on. So, I'm getting prepared to make about 20 of these little suckers.
Miniature Candy Apples & Bag Toppers
This is one of my favorite Halloween crafts and I love that my kids helped me make these special treated too. Halloween is a fun time for many and for us we love the treats much more than the tricks. Here is a fun tutorial on making miniature candy apples and a really cool download from one of my favorite paper craft shops.
